Field Projects Gallery and Mother in law’s Gallery present “Wishing Well.”
This exhibition gathers around the wishing well—an opening in the ground where belief takes form through gesture. Set across fifteen acres at Mother-In-Law’s Gallery grounds, the exhibition unfolds as a field of sculptures, each work holding its own charge of intention in forest and field. Here, to wish is to participate: to offer a coin, a thought, a fragment, and release it into darkness without return. The well does not reflect or respond; it absorbs. What settles there is not matter alone, but intention—a quiet archive of longing, accumulating out of sight, pressing upward from the underground.
